The Last Word and the Queens Jazz OverGround present the Brian Woodruff Quartet. This particular edition of Brian’s quartet was put together to highlight the playing and compositional talents of fellow Queens Jazz OverGround members Hashem Assadullahi on alto saxophone, Daisuke Abe on guitar, and our good friend and musical brother Peter Brendler on bass (and compositions as well). This is a test run for a possible series at The Last Word, so its a great opportunity to come out, enjoy some music, and help grow jazz in Queens!
