Adam Hutcheson has been active on the NYC music scene since 2013. Prior to moving to
Queens, he graduated from the University of North Texas where he played lead alto in the
school’s grammy nominated One O’Clock Lab Band, and was actively performing in the
Dallas/Ft. Worth jazz scene alongside the area’s top call musicians. Adam stays busy as a
sideman and band leader in New York’s music venues, most notably performing at Jazz at
Kitano as the house saxophonist in the club’s Emerging Artist Series. His debut album
Dreaming is Free was released in 2017 featuring the acclaimed AMP Trio, while his second
album co-lead by Los Angeles based saxophonist Alex Hahn is set to be released later this
year. The new album will feature George Colligan (piano), James Robbins (bass), Ross
Pederson (drums), and Dustin Mollick (baritone saxophone). Adam is a Yanagisawa and
MARCA Reeds endorsing artist.
