His latest project is his Quintet,  featuring Russell Kranes, Jeff Miles, Christian Coleman, and Diallo House.  It is a slightly expanded version of his quartet “Little Gorgeous”, that just wrapped up a six year residency at The Abbey in Brooklyn.  In addition to this he is currently working on a yet to be titled solo electroacoustic album.

Joey has been sighted playing various saxophones and the occasional synthesizer at The Roxy, The Knitting Factory, NJPAC, Rockwood Music Hall, Union Pool, Littlefield, Fat Cat, The Blue Note, amongst other locations in and around NYC.
